Even though its sparsely developed the city of Trivandrum ( Thiruvananthapuram ) , in the extreme south of India is a city that promises much more than you can imagine. The city is blessed by nature with a natural port site ( Vizhinjam Port ) which lies a few miles from the international shipping channel. With 24 to 27 mts of depth readily available within 100mts from shore its a boon to the business sector as it can support the largest ships that ever set sail in the world. Also lying under the international air route for many countries to the gulf the potential for the airline stop point for refueling and for repairs is also exposed. with minimal infrastructure development to support the business sector this city could also be easily made into an export hub. So the potential of the first World City of India is also widely exposed. I wish the government of Kerala takes adequate steps to harness the immense potential of this city.
kolla mello !!!!
